(WFXR) – The New River Health District will be vaccinating anyone age 16 and older at two clinics this week.

On Wednesday, May 5, the Dedmon Center in Radford will have a vaccine clinic between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. At this clinic, there will be drive-up vaccines available for those with limited mobility (ADA accessible).

On Thursday, May 6, Lane Stadium in Blacksburg will hold a vaccine clinic – also between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

If you have not received your first dose, you will need to schedule an appointment; however, if you are waiting for your second vaccine, and it’s been at least 28 days since your first vaccine, you can show up at either site with a photo ID to receive your second dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.

If you need to schedule an appointment, call (540) 838-8222 or click here.
