Jefferson Center in Roanoke rolling out new coronavirus precautions

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Effective Monday, Sept. 13, Roanoke’s Jefferson Center is rolling out new COVID-19 precautions in an effort to keep everyone safe while still enjoying live music.

You will be required to show proof of being fully vaccinated or proof of a negative PCR COVID test in order to attend the following events: Béla Fleck on Sept. 17, Gladys Knight on Sept. 19, or Gipsy Kings on Oct. 22.

Any negative PCR COVID test result provided for entry must have been taken within 72 hours of admission. A photo or copy of your vaccination card can be provided as proof.

Refunds are available to those who can’t or prefer not to show their vaccine card or a negative test result.

In addition, attendees to all Jefferson Center’s public events are required to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status.

Again, refunds will be made available to those who can’t or prefer not to wear a mask.
