Get your shot, watch the Sox: Carilion offering free Salem Red Sox tickets at vaccine clinic

Coronavirus

SALM, Va. (WFXR) — Carilion Clinic and the Salem Red Sox have partnered up to provide free COVID-19 vaccines before the baseball team’s home game — as well as free tickets to the game — on Thursday.

According to health officials, the clinic will provide Johnson & Johnson vaccines from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 24 at the Haley Toyota Field at Salem Memorial Ballpark.

Carilion Clinic says anyone who receives a vaccine onsite at the pre-game clinic will receive two free tickets to attend the Salem Red Sox game Thursday evening.

Even though walk-ins will be available while supplies last, community members are encouraged to register in advance to secure their dose.
