College Fairs Online to hold “Virtual College Preview Week” for local high school students

Coronavirus

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — College Fairs Online will hold a Virtual College Preview Week from April 20 through April 25 for local high school students.

College Fairs Online gives students the opportunity to learn about applying for college and meeting college representatives even though they can’t attend an in-person college fair during the current COVID-19 crisis.

Students can go online during the event to chat about financial aid, admissions, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) program, and any other questions they might have.

Each student that participates is also entered in a drawing for a $300 scholarship.

“College Fairs Online is a great opportunity for the students to learn what different colleges around the U.S. offer and get great tips on what to expect during the application process and beyond,” said Tamara Pendleton, founder of College Fairs Online.

To register for the free event, you can go to www.collegefairsonline.com/students.
