Botetourt County to distribute Moderna vaccines in Buchanan Sunday

Coronavirus

BUCHANAN, Va. (WFXR) — On Sunday afternoon, Botetourt County first responders are set to operate a COVID-19 vaccination site in the Buchanan area

According to the Botetourt County Department of Fire & EMS, this Moderna vaccine clinic will take place from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 25 at Limestone Park at 18291 Main Street.

While fire officials say they would prefer to pre-register as many people as possible for the clinic, they will accept walk-ins without registration starting at 2:30 p.m. and continuing until they run out of supplies.

However, in order to guarantee you receive a vaccination, the department says pre-registration is required.

For those unable to make it to the regular vaccination clinic, Botetourt County first responders are still offering at-home vaccinations.
