ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Even though numerous upcoming events have been canceled or rescheduled due to Gov. Ralph Northam’s stay-at-home order, the Berglund Center strives to continue entertaining Virginians with its new “Play at Home Concert Series.”

The online series will allow up and coming musicians to take over the Berglund Center’s Facebook and Instagram pages with a live concert.

According to the Berglund Center, the concerts are free of charge and “all you have to do is watch and enjoy from home!”

The Berglund Center says the series will kick off at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 10 with a performance from Low Low Chariot and continue at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15 with James Isaac.

If you or someone you know would like to perform, you can message the Berglund Center on Facebook or Instagram with a video or song file.
