Roanoke service dogs celebrate completion of professional training with virtual graduation ceremony

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — A nonprofit organization in Roanoke held a very special graduation ceremony over the weekend for some hard-working students.

In a virtual ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 13, Saint Francis Service Dogs celebrated 10 teams of canine graduates via Facebook Live.

The program is a nonprofit organization that aims to help children and adults with disabilities by partnering them with a professionally trained service dogs.

On Sunday evening, all that professional training paid off, earning these pups plenty of “a-paws.”
