ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Police are here to protect and serve in many ways.
On Tuesday, members of the Roanoke Police Department took time out of their day to hand out turkeys to some families in need.
According to a social media post from the department, the turkeys — donated by Kroger — were handed out by the Alpha Platoon.
