Ready for some family fun? The Buena Vista Fire Department Carnival kicks off Monday

BUENA VISTA, Va. (WFXR) — Are you ready for tasty food, fun games, thrilling rides, and musical entertainment? If so, the Buena Vista Fire Department Carnival is the place for you this week!

According to the Facebook description for the event, the BVFD Carnival will kick off at Camden Field at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 31, and then continue from Wednesday, June 2 through Saturday, June 5.

Wristbands cost $15 each night, organizers say.

The department has also arranged for music from 6 to 10 p.m. each night of the event. The carnival’s current musical lineup is listed below:

  • Monday, May 31: Rewind
  • Wednesday, June 2: Austin Audio DJ
  • Thursday, June 3: Jason Burke and Bruce Allen
  • Friday, June 4: Dorsey Hostetter and Tri-County Bluegrass
  • Saturday, June 5: Prime

You might want to bring along your appetite because fire officials say the white tents will be full of carnival food, including drinks, hot dogs, hamburgers, corn dogs, nachos, funnel cakes, fried Oreos, sugar bites, and lemonade, with all the proceeds benefitting the Buena Vista community.
