Radford Police ‘ice cream patrol’ offering free treats during first stop of the summer

RADFORD, Va. (WFXR) — Craving something cool and sweet on this almost-summer day? Cue the Radford City Police Department ice cream patrol!

Police in Radford partnered with Nana’s Sweets and Treats to give community members a free ice cream.

From 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26, the department’s ice cream patrol will be out at Rustic Village at 1500 Staples Street for the first patrol of the summer.

After all, in the words of the Radford City Police Department, the “forecast is a high of 86 degrees and a 100% chance for ice cream!!”
