Martinsville elementary school student reunites with her father after he spent two years deployed overseas

MARTINSVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — Talk about a feel-good Friday story! After spending two years deployed overseas, a man had a very special treat his for daughter, who is a student at a Martinsville elementary school.

According to Martinsville City Public Schools, Ralston Burke is an Army Specialist who came home after spending two years in South Korea.

Burke’s daughter, Cashante Gordon, had the surprise of a lifetime when she was able to reunite with her dad at Albert Harris Elementary School.
