DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — Here’s a story to put a smile on your face.
On Monday, Feb. 22, an officer with the Danville Police Department had an unexpected visitor in the form of a young man who wanted something special from the officer.
His autograph.
Carnell Jackson, Jr. happily signed the autograph after the child told him that he wanted to be a police officer, just like him.
“I thought it was such a warm and loving gesture and gladly agreed,” Jackson told WFXR News. “…His mother found me on Facebook later and told me it made his day. Very sweet and loving young man!”
