PULASKI, Va. (WFXR) – Many of us who’ve spent some time in the New River Valley have heard of the Blue Ridge Fudge Lady.

In fact, she was even one of WFXR News’ Remarkable Women earlier this year.

Robin Burdette loves to give back to her community.

Every Veterans Day, she makes fudge for local heroes who have served in the United States military.

This year, she donated over 360 packages to local veterans.

The Pulaski Fire Department spent part of its day delivering them to those veterans.

She’s already planning for next year, so if you want a special veteran to be included, the Pulaski Police Department recommends following her Facebook page for updates on how to get them included.
