NASA needs your help to pick the name for the newest Mars Rover

WASHINGTON — NASA is asking for your help to pick the name of its newest Mars Rover.

The agency received 28-thousand pitches, coming from students across the country. Volunteer judges narrowed the choices down to nine final names.

The names are:

  • Endurance
  • Tenacity
  • Promise
  • Perseverance
  • Vision
  • Clarity
  • Ingenuity
  • Fortitude
  • and Courage

You can vote for your favorite on NASA’s online poll until Monday, January 27. Those votes will help NASA pick the winning name, which will be announced on March 15.
