ALLEGHANY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — A golf cart fire caused headaches for a country club in Clifton Forge Monday morning.

The Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office said a golf cart caught fire at the Cliftondale Country Club. The fire spread to a shed housing other golf carts.

The sheriff’s office said there were no injuries. Officials could not confirm a damage estimate.

The Sharon Volunteer Fire Department is still on scene.
