God’s Pit Crew to send disaster relief to Bahamas

DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) – God’s Pit Crew will be shipping Blessing Buckets and other essential relief supplies to hurricane-ravaged Bahamas as soon as possible.

The organization is teaming up with Operation Compassion to have a tractor-trailer full of relief supplies to Fort Lauderdale, Florida which will be loaded onto a barge leaving this weekend for the island.

God’s Pit Crew is also working with Agape Flights to send Blessing Buckets as well as numerous generators flown directly to the island of Eleuthera, east of the capital of the Bahamas, Nassau where many hurricane evacuees rode out the storm.

Steve Wingfield Ministries is assisting God’s Pit Crew by setting up a water collection drive at Walmart locations in Harrisonburg.

Heaven Sent Ministries in Princeton is also having a water collection drive for God’s Pit Crew at their distribution center located at 400 City View Heights in Princeton.

Bottled water and Blessing Bucket supplies can always be dropped off at God’s Pit Crew Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. God’s Pit Crew’s lower distribution center loading dock is located at 145 Brentwood Drive in Danville.
