(FOX NEWS) – In the wake of two mass shootings earlier this month, bipartisan majorities of voters favor background checks on gun buyers from those who pose a danger to themselves or others, according to the latest Fox News Poll. Two-thirds also support an assault weapons ban.
Another poll question asked people to choose whether or not they would rather live in a country where gun ownership is legal versus one where guns are banned.
The poll was conducted August 11-13. Those results as well job approval rating statistics for President Trump can be viewed here.
