ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Each Friday on “Good Day Virginia” is Foodie Friday. We highlight restaurants, chefs, and more throughout southwest Virginia.

After a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the 22nd Ronaoke Lebanese Festival is back, and its menu is filled with scrumptious foods.

WFXR’s Hazelmarie Anderson stepped into the kitchen with Sam Silek, who shared a sneak peek at some authentic home-styled dishes and the excitement festival volunteers have as the community enjoys the unique flavors.

The festival starts on Friday, June 2, and gives visitors a taste of the Lebanese culture. Below is the schedule for the festival:

  • Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Sunday from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
