ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — The delayed Fourth of July fireworks show is scheduled to go on Friday night.
The show starts at 9:15 p.m. at Rivers Edge South, a park located in front of Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Heavy rain storms on Thursday night delayed the show.
Valley Metro shuttles will run from Patrick Henry High School starting at 8 p.m. for anyone that needs transportation.
There will be no food trucks, music or other festivities before the show.
Several streets will be closed to traffic beginning at 5 p.m. including: Reserve, Wiley and Evans Mill Road.
Officials tell WFXR News that the show will not be rescheduled if bad weather prevents tonight’s show from happening.
