Escaped inmate arrested, mom and brother charged in helping him

PULASKI COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Jeremy Bryan, an inmate who escaped custody earlier this week, was taken into custody on Friday.

The Virginia State Police say they received a tip on Bryan’s whereabouts. Several agencies responded to a home in the 500 block of Bunts St., in the town of Pulaski.

When authorities arrived at the location, Bryan fled on foot. He was captured a short distance away. Two family members were also taken into custody.

His Mother, Beverly Anne Nester is being charged with obstructing legal process and being principle in the 2nd degree in aiding an escapee.

His brother, James Bryan is charged with obstructing legal process, making a false statement to law enforcement and aiding an escapee. 

Jeremy Bryan was already facing escape without force, obstruction of justice and one felony count of petit larceny.
