Radford High School updates graduation, end of year events

RADFORD, Va. (WFXR) – Radford High School has updated its website with information pertaining to year-end events as well as next week’s graduation.

On Sunday, May 16, the Baccalaureate Service will take place at Bobcat Stadium starting at 6 p.m.

Seniors are asked to wear cap and gown. Organizers say it’s okay to sit with friends or family.

Guests are welcome but mask-wearing and social distancing will be required to be adhered to.

The Senior Parade will take place at 7 p.m. and will end at the lot near old True Value Hardware (Sal’s/El Charro plaza). Students are able to decorate cars appropriately.

On Friday, May 21, Graduation practice will begin at 12 p.m. Seniors do not need to wear cap and gown for the practice ceremony.

Finally, Graduation takes place at 7 p.m. in the stadium on the 21st. Students should arrive at 6 p.m. in the auditorium. No more than 10 guests per student and no ticket is required.
