Some of Danville’s government offices are experiencing phone issues today impacting several city departments.

DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — Several Danville government offices are experiencing phone issues Friday.

According to the city, the Municipal Building and Charles H. Harris Financial Service Center are unable to receive outside calls.

The city departments impacted by the phone issues include the city manager, finance, real estate, purchasing, customers accounts, utilities, economic development, and voter registrar offices.

The following departments can receive outside calls: police, public works, parks and recreation, community development, and mass transit.

According to the city, emergency 911 calls and the utility hotline number for reporting power outages are not impacted.

The city’s phone service provider continues to work on resolving the issue.
