ALLEGHANY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The trial for the man facing charges in Alleghany County following the abduction of a two-year-old boy from Giles County has been pushed to April, according to court documents.

Attorneys for Bobby Lee Taylor of Clifton Forge asked for the delay in court on Thursday, Jan. 20, which is when Taylor was supposed to go on trial.

Taylor is the boyfriend of Nancy Fridley, the woman accused of taking two-year-old Noah Trout from a Giles County church in May 2021. Fridley faces one count of abduction and one count of felony child endangerment.

Authorities say that Taylor became involved once Fridley allegedly brought the little boy to her home in Alleghany County.
