CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — A man who sustained injuries from a domestic disturbance has died Sunday, according to the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office.

On Sunday, Jan. 16 around 8:30 a.m., the sheriff’s office says deputies were called out to 7103 Wards Road for a domestic disturbance.

Authorities say they called medics to take Gregory McGann to the Lynchburg General Emergency Department to be treated for his unspecified injury.

McGann later passed away Sunday afternoon from his injuries, according to deputies.

McGann’s son, Michael Stout, is being held without bond in the Campbell County Adult Detention Center for aggravated malicious wounding, officials say.

This case remains under investigation and more charges could be released at a later date.
