On Sunday, authorities responded to a call on Maple Lane for a report of a cat with its head stuck in a storm drain.

Fire crews removed the upper grate from the drain to help the cat.

Once the cat was removed, it was transported to the Edgewater Animal Hospital in Buena Vista.
