Car crashes into building on Williamson Rd., no injuries

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – A car crashed into a building in Northeast Roanoke Thursday afternoon.

The accident happened in the 5300 block of Williamson Rd., just before 1:00 p.m.

The owner told WFXR News, a woman was trying to park when she hit the gas instead of the brakes. She was able to escape the accident with no injuries.

No one was in the building at the time of the crash.

The business space had been empty for about two months, according to the owner.
