FOREST, Va. (WFXR) — Music is an industry that keeps on changing. It all started with live performances, then the radio came along and made listening more accessible. Soon after, records came about, then CDs, and finally iPods were invented.

Now, you can listen to your favorite artists virtually anywhere. Twice Records is kicking it old-school and bringing vinyl back to Forest, Virginia.

Twice Records will celebrate its grand opening on June 2 at its store located at 14805 Forest Road. Free t-shirts and gift certificates will be given away at the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday at 5 p.m. where a DJ will make a guest appearance.

The shop will be filled with colorful posters of iconic musicians and customers can purchase records and CDs of all different genres.

“We are bringing fun and records back to Forest Virginia! Come in and BUY!!! See you on the flip-side!” said owner, Spyros Theodorides.
