(WFXR) — The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reported a recall of two John Deere lawn tractors.
According to the CPSC, the tractors impacted are the John Deere X380 and the X390. The recall states that the tractors’ wheel hubs were not manufactured to specifications and can fail. This can cause the tractor to lose braking and propulsion and can cause the tractor to crash and threaten injury.
There were about 160 units sold with about 30 of them sold in Canada.
If you have one of these tractors you are asked to contact Deere & Company at 800-537-8233 between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday or you can visit the Deere website.
