(WFXR) — An American multinational telecommunications company is investing millions of dollars to improve connectivity across Virginia.
The more than $700 million investment from AT&T will increase the network’s speed, reliability, coverage, and overall performance. The company says it will also make improvements in critical communications for the Commonwealth’s first responders.
Nearly $110 million will go to Richmond and Hampton Roads will receive nearly $70 million.
