Traffic moving slowly on Eastbound U.S. 460, due to large police response

Campbell County, Va. (WFXR) – Eastbound traffic on U.S. 460 near Liberty University and Wards Road, just south of Lynchburg, is moving slowly due to a police-involved incident.

A VDOT camera shows several police cars, officers, and a wrecked vehicle in the median. One lane of traffic is open. All eastbound traffic was closed at one point.
