FLOYD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — A boil water advisory for citizens has been lifted.

The advisory had been in effect since Tuesday after a water line burst.

Floyd-Floyd County Public Service Authority was required to submit two clean water samples to the Virginia Department of Health before the advisory could be lifted.

The water line has since been repaired.
