ALLEGHANY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Next week, three grades of public school students in Alleghany County will start spending four days a week participating in face-to-face instruction.
Beginning Monday, March 8, Alleghany County Public Schools says all students in third grade, eighth grade, and 10th grade will attend in-person classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
However, Wednesday will continue to be a virtual day for students, according to the school division.
While parents will still be allowed to have their students attend school 100 percent remotely, school officials say the hybrid A/B schedule will be discontinued for grades three, eight, and 10.
If you have any questions about this updated learning model, you are asked to contact your child’s school.
