Republican Del. Les Adams wins re-election in District 16

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The voice of District 16 in the House of Delegates will continue to be Del. Les R. Adams.

Since joining the House in 2014, Adams has served on the Courts of Justice Committee, the Privileges and Elections Committee, the Transportation Committee, the Science and Technology Committee, and numerous subcommittees. As mentioned on his campaign website, Adams also plans to continue his work lowering taxes, promoting responsibility in government oversight and spending, making quality
education more accessible, and supporting entrepreneurial and economic growth.

According to his website, Dustin Evans—Adams’ Libertarian opponent—ran a campaign focused on revamping the agricultural and industrial infrastructure in District 16, restoring voting rights and improving the education and healthcare systems.
