ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Experts will gather on Sept. 25-26 for a conference to discuss solutions to distracted driving at the Hotel Roanoke.
At the 7th Annual Distracted Driving Summit, the different aspects of addressing distracted driving will be discussed.
“From law enforcement efforts to corporate policies to technology to identifying the problem through research and data, we must be willing to take a multi-pronged approach to saving lives on our roadways,” said Janet Brooking, executive director of DRIVE SMART Virginia.
“We can make a difference if we work together.”
Virginia Tech Transportation Institute Director Dr. Tom DIngus will serve as the opening speaker for this two-day summit.
