$6M investment brings 25 new jobs to Botetourt County

BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Metalsa Structural Products, Inc. is investing $6.4 million for expansion in Botetourt County.

The company is an automotive solutions provider with a Botetourt manufacturing facility that produces structural parts for the light and commercial vehicle industry. Some products include chassis frames, cross members, suspension models, fuel systems, and body structural stampings for passenger cars and light trucks.

“Manufacturing continues to gain momentum in Virginia due to the success of strong corporate partners like Metalsa Structural Products,” said Governor Northam.

Metalsa was founded in 1956, and operates as a subsidiary of Grupo Proeza, a private company in Mexico.

Metalsa-Roanoke currently employs over 230 workers at its Botetourt facility.
