LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — After a deadly stabbing took place in the Hill City on Nov. 10, one local organization is continuing is step to the forefront to make sure community members feel safe.

The Lynchburg Peacemakers are extending a hand to any woman in the community who has protective orders against someone and is still afraid. On Sunday, Nov. 12, the organization announced that they would be willing to install cameras in the homes of women for added protection, at no cost.

“The Peacemakers are dedicated to doing all that we can in reducing/stopping this violent crime,” said the Lynchburg Peacemakers. “The Community, by working together on all fronts we can make our community safer for our women, children & elderly.”
