NEW RIVER VALLEY, Va. (WFXR) – Pulaski, Wythe, and Carroll Counties have recently been victimized multiple times by a man breaking and entering within the areas.

The suspect has been seen wearing camouflage clothing and has allegedly stolen firearms from a cabin in Wythe County.

The video shown on the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Facebook page was taken before anyone knew the man was a suspect in any crimes and shows the man at a local business interacting with unsuspecting employees who were just trying to do the right thing to help someone in need. In the video, the suspect is heard asking for water.

He is currently believed to be traveling between, Pulaski, Wythe, and Carroll Counties along the New River Trail. Police say there will be an increased law enforcement presence in these areas, including Game Wardens and Virginia State Parks Police.
