They set a perimeter around the home and tried to make contact with the suspect. After several unsuccessful attempts, deputies entered the home and found the client dead with stab wounds.
During their investigation, officers learned the man was allegedly attacked by the client and stabbed several times. They learned he was able to fight back the client and stab them multiple times before exiting the home and going to his car.
The employee was taken to a hospital in Roanoke for treatment.
