PULASKI COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a possible double homicide after two people were found dead in a home in Dublin on May 30th.
Around 6:20 p.m., deputies say they responded to the 5000 block of Wilderness Road for a report of multiple shots fired. Inside the home, deputies found the bodies of 27-year-old Jimmy Ray Brewer III from Dublin, and 25-year-old Ashley Nicole Ray from Dublin with gunshot wounds.
Brewer and Ray were pronounced dead at the scene. Their bodies were taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Roanoke.
Deputies say two children were also found unharmed inside the home. They were taken to a neighbor’s residence until the Department of Social Services was able to arrive and assist the children.
Investigators with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office say the shooting remains under investigation, but determined this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
