BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — A Maryland man will be extradited to Virginia to face charges brought by a Bedford County Task Force that investigates potential crimes against children.
According to the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office, 23-year-old Dante Hill was arrested in Silver Springs, MD on Sept. 22. Investigators assigned to the Southern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force charged Hill with three counts of Use of a communications systems to facilitate certain offenses involving children.
During the investigation, several agencies including the Maryland Department of State Police and the United States Marshals Service were involved in the case.
The Bedford County Sheriff says this is an ongoing investigation.
