UPDATE 3/30 9:58 a.m. BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — After a search and vehicle pursuit, 24-year-old Henry Broderick Pack was taken into custody on March 29th.

According to the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were notified by the Appomattox County Sheriff’s Office that Pack was wanted out of their jurisdiction for eight warrants including “driving revoked DUI.” Additionally, deputies learned that Pack allegedly violeted his probation in the City of Lynchburg.

In a joint investigation with the Vice Unit and the Community Action Team, investigators were able to locate a vehicle driven by Pack that matched the description from the report. Investigators attempted to make a traffic stop at the intersection of Moneta Road and Diamond Hill Road, but after unsuccessful attempts, a vehicle pursuit was initiated.

Police pursued Pack for several miles through Franklin County, Roanoke County, and the Town of Vinton. The chase continued until spikes were deployed on Packs vehicle.

Pack was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Felony Elude
  • Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

He is being held without bond at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail.



APPOMATTOX COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Appomattox County Sheriff’s Office says it is searching for a man with eight warrants out for his arrest.

According to the sheriff, 24-year-old Henry Broderick Pack is wanted on the following:

  • Six Felony Eluding
  • Misdemeanor DWI
  • Felony Revocation of Suspended Sentence/Probation
