ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — A Nottoway County man pled guilty in the Roanoke County Circuit Court on March 16 after an incident with officers in 2022.
Shawn Tolbert pled guilty to Felony Elude/Disregarding Police on Thursday. A Roanoke County Judge sentenced Tolbert to two years in prison with one suspended.
In August of 2022, an extensive manhunt for Tolbert led law enforcement agencies through several counties including Craig, Giles, Pulaski, and Montgomery Counties. Tolbert is facing charges in other counties.
