ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — The Roanoke Police Department says a man is hospitalized after a shooting on Hanover Avenue NW on the afternoon of March 29th.
Officers say the call came in for shots fired with a person injured in the 2000 block of Hanover Avenue NW around 3:30 p.m. On the scene, officers located a man with what appeared to be non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The unidentified man was transported to the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The Roanoke Police Department says details about what led to the shooting are limited at this time. The incident remains under investigation.
