BEDFORD, Va. (WFXR) — Detectives with the Bedford Police Department have charged a man after an extensive investigation discovering the sale of narcotics within the community.

According to investigators, during a traffic stop on February 23rd, Ian Christopher Woodroof was allegedly found in possession of $6,300 worth of narcotics, including Cocaine, Heroin, Methamphetamine, and Marijuana.

Woodroof has been charged with three counts of possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance and the possession of a controlled substance.

Investigators say additional felony charges are likely to be handed down soon. The Virginia State Police assisted Bedford officers in the investigation. WFXR News will continue to update you with new information as it is released.
