LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) – The Lynchburg Police Department has released new details surrounding the heavy police presence and “unfounded threat” that occurred on Hanover Street on Sept. 20.

Officers, including the LPD Swat Team, arrived at a home on the 2100 block of Hanover Street to investigate reports of a potential hostage situation.
