LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — The Lynchburg Police Department reports four juveniles have been arrested after allegedly being found with multiple weapons at the River Ridge Mall on Saturday evening.
Just after 7 p.m. on Feb. 18, officers were dispatched to Candlers Mountain Road to investigate a teenager who was allegedly brandishing a gun in a HomeGoods parking lot. On the scene, witnesses gave the officers a suspect description, resulting in four juveniles being found.
During the subsequent investigation, four guns were seized, including one confirmed to be stolen. Additionally, while conducting a search of the area, an airsoft gun was also found outside the mall.
No shots were fired and there were no reported injuries. The incident remains under investigation and charges against the juveniles are pending.
