LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — The Lynchburg Police Department shares that a woman was arrested after a firefighter found illegal items in a residence while responding to a call at the Vistas at Dreaming Creek Apartments on April 25th.

The firefighter notified the LPD and officers responded to the 7000 block of Timberlake Road to search the apartment.

During the investigation, officers allegedly seized the following items:  

  • Cocaine  
  • Three Firearms and ammunition  
  • Three suspected homemade explosive devices 

The resident of the apartment, 37-year-old Sarah E. Jiang of Forest, was arrested and charged with the following:  

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance  
  • Three counts of Possession of a Firearm while in Possession of Certain Substances  
  • Four counts of Possession or Transportation of Firearms, Firearms Ammunition, Stun Weapons, explosives, or Concealed Weapons by Convicted Felons 
  • Manufacture, Possession, use, etc. of Fire Bombs or Explosive Materials or Devices
