PATRICK COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Patrick County Sheriff’s Office says 39 people have been indicted on over 100 narcotics distribution charges.
According to Sheriff Dan Smith, all suspects were arrested on Monday, Sept. 11. He said the indictments were the result of an 18-month-long investigation by the sheriff’s office and investigations unit.
“We will remain active throughout the week searching for those on the list, in addition to working with authorities in Henry County and North Carolina to apprehend those who live there,” said Smith.
The identities are expected to be released after the indictments are unsealed on Sept. 19.
