ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — According to the CDC, Colon Cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in America, as well as the third most common cancer found in both men and women. Today Kianna Price talked with Dr. Lindsey Bierle, Internal Medicine Resident Physician with Carilion Clinic about National Colon Cancer Awareness Month and some events that are available to support the cause.
