A local sporting goods store wants to make sure students in need are starting their school year off on a good foot.

The owners of Fleet Feet want to ensure that over 8,000 students in Roanoke City Public Schools have a new pair of athletic shoes to kick off the school year. On Saturday registered students will be able to get fitted for free shoes.

Fleet Feet Marketing Director Casey Lewis gives the details on how one can volunteer at this back-to-school extravaganza.
